If You Like To Spend Time Alone, You Might Have These 11 Special Personality Traits

Nowadays, it seems like people are far too hung-up with determining whether other people are either introverts or extroverts—why is society in general so obsessed with labels?!
Like most people who are placed into distinct (and different) categories, introverts and extroverts can still share many of the same characteristics even though they are known as being opposites of each other.
Although people who like to be alone are almost always identified as being introverts, as can be seen by way of the list below, sometimes the label just doesn’t fit the product (or it’s already fallen off completely).
#1: They’re trustworthy.
Unsurprisingly, people who like to be alone tend to have a relatively small group of friends. However, the friendships they do have tend to be close and meaningful ones. In short, sometimes less is more.
#2: They’re willing to go out.
Perhaps surprisingly, people who like to be alone usually don’t mind going out at all—as long as they’ve experienced enough alone-time beforehand. What’s more, they’re frequently open to going to new places and to trying new things in general. They’re not one-dimensional at all.
#3: They’re balanced.
Because they spend so much time alone (and so much time thinking about other people, themselves, and life in general), people who like to be alone have a good sense of what to expect in most situations, and a good sense of how to solve any number of problems which might arise.
#4: They’re confident.
Since people who like to be alone often think about the same topics, subjects, and problems multiple times, they’re confident in the positions they’ve taken pertaining to their morals, beliefs, and insights. They’re still willing to shift their opinion or admit it when they’re wrong—you’ll just have to make a very strong case.
#5: They value time.
People who like to be alone realize just how much you can think about if you take the time to do it. What’s more, they realize just how quickly time flies when you’re thinking productively, and just how quickly time flies most of the time. As such, they don’t like to waste their own time—or anyone else’s.
#6: They set and keep boundaries.
As mentioned, people who like to be alone know where they stand on most important issues, but they are also very assertive when it comes to other people infringing on those beliefs. As discussed, they’re fine engaging in conversations and disagreements, but if another person says something which is out of line, inappropriate, or offensive, then people who like to be alone won’t just shrug it off—they’ll speak-up.
#7: They’re independent.
“The best part about being alone is that you really don’t have to answer to anybody. You do what you want.”—Justin Timberlake
#8: They possess wisdom.
“Being alone & actually sitting with our own thoughts can lead to such growth and realizations that are rare in our everyday busy lives.”—Kourtney Kardashian
#9: They’re articulate.
“Some people can’t stand being alone. I love solitude and silence. But when I come out of it, I’m a regular talking machine. It’s all or nothing for me.”—Celine Dion
#10: They’re ironic.
“I only go out to get me a fresh appetite for being alone.”—Lord Byron
#11: They’re at peace.
“I have an internal protectiveness where it’s like, if it comes to just me, as frightened as I am of losing someone I love or things going sour or simply being alone, there is a dark place in my brain where I’m like, It could happen and I’m okay, I’m prepared.”—Lena Headey
10 reasons why people who like to be alone tend to be successful.
#1: They’ve released more negativity and stress.
#2: They have deep memories.
#3: They’re creative.
#4: They’re accepting.
#5: They have balanced relationships.
#6: They’re focused.
#7: They’re efficient and effective.
